Where to find the Everyday sets

I have been asked a few times where do my Sizzix Everyday collection of dies and stamps is stocked. Any good stockist of Sizzix in the EU should be able to get hold of them, though they are a limited edition so it means that they are not going to be available for long.

Anyway, I thought I would list some of the shops that stock it currently and that I can recommend since I have often used their services before.

The Glitter Pot
The Craft Barn
Crafts U Love

I hope it helps!

Crafts beautiful + Sizzix

Last Saturday and Sunday I was demonstrating at HobbyCrafts, the craft show that takes place at the NEC, Birmingham. It is the biggest craft show I know of in the UK. It was one that I did not want to miss as a customer and now I have been working the show for the last three editions.
It is so great to see so many friendly faces and old friends that is a pleasure to work there.

I was demonstrating at the Crafts Beautiful publishers stand, which are introducing a new magazine that I am just in love with: Homemaker. Really excited about that one!

I was demonstrating framelits dies, specially my Everyday collection for Sizzix. I was really grateful that everyone loved them.

I don't know if it is the old age  but It is often that i am getting emotional at these events. Crafters are so kind! Thank you to everyone who say such lovely things.

On Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday I will be demonstrating at 3pm at the Ideal Home Show Christmas at Earls court. I can not wait!

A great experience in Madrid

This week blog post over at the Sizzix blog is about my trip to Feria Creativa in Madrid.
There are a few photos.

The truth is that it was without a doubt one of the best experiences I have had working for Sizzix. I am a lucky girl!

El post de esta semana en el blog de Sizzix es sobre mi experiencia en la feria Creativa de Madrid.
La verdad es que ha sido sin duda una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido trabajando para Sizzix. Soy muy afortunada!

Online video tutorial

Here you have a video that I did for Sizzix and The Crafts Channel using my Butterflies from the Everyday range.
I hope it is clear how the system works, stamp & die cut, or die cut and die cut or even just stamping!

The collection is arriving to shops all over the UK and Europe this week. I am ever so excited!

So, tonight...

There is a big event here in London. I like the Olympics Opening ceremonies, but since we have four nationalities in this house (yes, and only two people), it will be hard to know which flag we are going to cheer the loudest.  Although, I have a incline which one is going to win!

Sizzix EU Blog Hop

This week we have had the first ever Blog hop at Sizzix EU. Its been fun to check out the blogs of such talented ladies and getting all sorts of inspiration.

Monday - Lory Bucaria

Tuesday - Celine Navarro

Wednesday - Paivi Forsstrom

Friday - Anna Dąbrowska

Saturday - Paula Pascual

(Me! you are at the right place!)

So, today it is my turn, and as usual, I wanted to do something different from cards. I love making bookmarks, and since my husband has always about ten or twenty books on the go, making a set of them in one go seems like a good idea.
I am using Teresa Collins papers, which are becoming a firm favourite of mine.

Here is how I make them:

Start by die cutting all five Framelits. You can do each one separately or all at once. In any case you need the outline created by die cutting two sizes from the same card.

Die cut the tags solid using pattern paper.

Attach them together by applying glue only on the very top part of the outline die cut.

And there you got it. Four bookmarks in no time at all!

I hope you like it and have enjoyed the blog hop!

My latest trip abroad: Lisbon for Sizzix

I really enjoy travelling, I do not enjoy planning for it though. But lately I have had the chance to travel abroad a few times to demonstrate and teach for Sizzix.

Last weekend I went to Lisbon to teach at Chocolate Quente XL. I love any event organized by the owner Patricia Villa Boas.

You can see all the photos and read all about it here on the Sizzix UK blog.
