You know that there are moments in life that suddenly you know something, like someone is going to appear, something is going to happen and so on. Not always is that thing a good one, sometimes is bad, really bad.
It happened Sunday, I was in Ikea shopping again for my studio (which, note aside, needs tiding desperately). And suddenly I had that feeling that someone needed help. Weird you may think, but it happens quite often to me. Because I am a religious person, so when that happens I always say a prayer even though I do not know who is suffering or who needs it. And so I did.
Few minutes later, I had a call from a friend letting me know of a common friend who was (as still is) having a very difficult time. I had no idea of that, yet it made sense. This horrible news made me again pray for her and her family. What is going to happen I don't know, but there is nothing else to do but to pray.
I understand that there are some people who don't believe in the afterlife nor in any spiritual aspect of the human being. I just don't care if they do or not, and I am certainly not going to try to convince anyone about anything. But for me, it's the only way I can make sense of all this and more importantly, I just can not not believe.
Through rough times, there is always the steady and calm prayer that maintains us afloat.

Busy, busy, busy
Last week was one of those busy, busy weeks. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday I worked at The Trade show (NEC, Birmingham). That was fun but really exhausting, it's always nice to see everyone, Becks from Scrapgenie, Julie Hickey, Sara, Liza from Craftime, Sam and so many more.
Friday I demonstrated at Excel for Dawn Bibby. It was fun because she called me at 8:30 in the morning, and those who know me well, will know that that is very early for me. I mean I may be awake, but my thoughts are not in order. I went and as soon as I got there I was put on front of a lovely oriental stamps and a great die cut cards in form of tags. It was great to play all day long with them.
Saturday I had a class at Creative Quilting a quilting shop with a selection of cardmaking materials. I had a lovely group and I enjoyed it so much that I am looking forward to next 31st of march when I have next classes.
Thursday is the TSV at QVC, so I'll be there with Dawn Bibby all day. Looking forward to that, although I get home exhausted.

New job, kind of
This news are so exciting. I am the new assistant to Dawn Bibby when she is doing the shows at QVC. It is such a great opportunity for me so I am really grateful to Dawn for all this. It is fascinating to see everything backstage and off camera.
Right now, I am just trying to finish off the preparations for Stitches, the craft trade show. I will be demoing for Kars. Really love demonstrating.

Good Changes
All Right, so I really have a new bigger studio, and it looks like this (actually much more untidy even if you thought that wasn't possible.
In the next few weeks, I'll be getting some more furniture. I know exactly where to put it and, trust me, it all fits or so it should.
That ugly thing against the wall on the first photo is the old sofa bed that used to be on our living room. We got real sofas for the first time and, nowhere else to put the old one, Omar insisted on me having it until we can give it away to some friends. So, I use it as a storage using hooks and baskets.
Lots of things are going to change still you can get the idea.
I am a very lucky girl!
