CHA and Stitches
Oh, how I wish I was there! Every year is the same, I want to go, but never quite take the plunge and go. Actually, I do think that most of the time it is best that I don't go as some times it can mean massive craft overload.
So, I immerse myself into websites and blogs in search of what is new, and to be honest what we call new new there isn't much. There is however, yummy lines of papers and stamps which as soon as they are available to the public they will go straight into my shopping basket. That is if I can get my hands on them!
Actually, jokes asides, I have plenty of work here as I have to prepare for Stitches -the UK craft trade show- in which I will be demonstrating and teaching for Kars. It will the fourth edition of Stitches in which I will be working i a booth but the first time that I will be teaching one of the workshops, which is exciting and daunting at the same time! When I was asked to teach the class, I said yes because it is always a good experience to do things a little bit different, I am still very excited at the opportunity, but it takes a lot of work.
As soon as I finish more samples I will post them here. For now though, this is what I have done that I can show, all materials are from My Little Yellow Bycicle.
PS: I still don't have broadband, I am just using Omars mobile broadband that he uses all the time for his little ISUS, which is a great backup for occasions like this.

Guess where I went last night?
Well, it may not be something that exciting, but I did go to the Valkyrie UK premiere at Leicester square and yes I saw Tom Cruise, Bill Nighty, Eddie Izzard in real life! And we walked the red carpet and all, but my friend (the one who has "contacts") and I walked it really fast as you feel really out of place. My only disappointment was that Kenneth Brannagh was not there.
The movie is ok, I mean I had really low expectations and I did enjoy it.
Now, I need to get on with my work. Yesterday I got four large boxes of stuff to make samples and workshop ideas for Stitches. hopefully I will be able to post some photos soon, that is if the really slow internet connection that we have now allows me to do so.

No internet connection
Let me tell you that I know that it's been over ten days since the last time I posted anything in this blog, but as it happens -and it always happens all at once- when I felt well and with something to post... there is no internet connection. Well, basically either we forgot to change the credit card details -the old one expired- or the company has gone bust. Either way, it meant a weekend so far of no internet, which is actually a good thing.
But, as of today Monday, there is still no broadband in my house, so forget uploading any images into the blog. All I can say to you is: thanks for being understanding as I need to be - yes, Julie, I am talking to you!

Tired of being sick
It's been almost a week of being sick, I am tired of being sick!
I haven't been able to do anything work wise and house wise since we came back from a lovely Christmas in Spain.
Hopefully I will get better soon and start to post ideas soon!
