After a working weekend

As I mentioned in the last post, I spent last weekend teaching in Dawn Bibby's Studio. I loved the experience, as it was the first time I was teaching there.

This is the mini album we did on the Friday.

On Sunday, Kirsty Wiseman and Esther came to visit Dawn, so I finally met Kirsty. I have been in love with her absolutely fabulous photos for a long while so to meet her in person was really nice. She is exactly as I thought she would be from reading her blog which was nice.

Topaz weekend

This weekend I will be teaching (Friday and Sunday) and demonstrating (Saturday) at Topaz Crafts, Dawn Bibby's shop. So come along!

The Glitter Pot Tomorrow

Tomorrow, I will be demonstrating the NEW release for the Cuttlebug which includes the loveliest embossing folders and combo sets at the Glitter Pot. If you love the system, you will love the new additions. To be honest, I didn't expect them expect them until July, so it is a great surprise. So, from 10:00 till 4:00, there are going to be five free demos by Jane Gill, Stamping Caz, Gaynor, Kay Webb and yours truly.

And as quick recap of last week demo at the Craft Barn:

I had a fantastic time, the new owner has done a really nice job in the place and she has keept one of the nicest managers in charge, Katie. It was lovely to work for her again even though it was just two days!

Sandra Dry is the designer of the Daisy and Dan range of Kadoodle. She had lovely ideas like the one above, perfect for the little princesses.

And even though I took this photo when we were packing up after two very tiring demo days, I manage to get Jane Gill to smile and pose for a quick photo session. I love this woman, not only she is super talented but also she is such a great funny lady.

Small project

I haven't been a good blogger as I have really busy the last few weeks and I will be for the next few weeks. Tomorrow I have the first session of step by step photography for my third book, really looking forward... to tomorrow evening when the session is over as it is quite tiring process.

This is the project I taught last Saturday at Treasure Crafts. I love teaching there, the atmosfere is always so lovely! This project is what I call a scrapcard, but I am not sure if everyone would agree that it is. I guess as of now it doesn't have photos therefore the scrap part doesn't quite apply.
The butterflies are from the Cricut Home Accents cartridge and the papers are from My Minds Eye.

But whatever you call it, I think is a great little project to send as a card for a family or a card that a family sends to one person. Why? because as it has different pages and little tags, you can write different messages for different people, or different people can write each a message for the one recipient. (I don't know if what I just wrote makes sense, too late to check it out!)
