6 years on
Last Saturday Omar and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary and in our true fashion we didn't do or get anything to celabrate. Really, it is not a conscious decission, it just happens that we always forget to plan something special.
I did, however make a card and as i didn't have (or could not find) any happy anniversary greeting I opted for an old KI Memories Mr & Mrs word fetti (I know that wordfetti are made by Making memories, but I forgot what the ones by Ki are called). Also I decorated the inside with several quotes referring to married life and love from the same KI Memories product. They are brilliant, although I bought them long time ago I keep using them.
By the way, tomorrow I will be demonstrating at Crafts U Love. Helen Meighan -if you like punches and/or peel offs, you will adore her work-, Stamping Caz -the queen of colouring- plus Kim Fee and Wendy Horrod. For more details, click here.

Done some cardmaking for fun
It may come as a surprise to some of you, but I rarely make cards for my own amusement anymore. Most likely, if I make them it will be for a magazine, class or other type of commission.
The thing is that I don't really send that many, so I have already boxes full from articles and classes. When I feel creative, then I scrapbook or do a mini album which allows me to be artistic but also do something with my photos (have thousands) and memorabilia (boxes full of that too!).
But today was a weird day because I just wanted to make a card using some Stampin Up and Penny Black stamps using Craftwork Cards ruffles and the plain and simple white card (the BEST to stamp and colour in by far!).
I am pretty happy with the result, and hopefully I will keep doing it more often. (Fingers crossed!)

New layout
Right now, my favorite paper company is Making Memories, specially their die cut papers.
So I could not resist the new Noteworthy papers, ribbons and journaling notebook. Also I used the Prima felt lace in the back.
So, no big sporting news today, but I am still feeling happy about Nadal's victory a week ago. Thanks for all the messages and comments left. I love the fact that so many non Spanish people were supporting Rafa. Anyway, hopefully I will be posting more crafting entries.

Nadal
I was going to post something craft related this morning, then got distracted because Nadal vs. Federer match was about to start (Wimbledon final), and after so many hours, we, Spanish people, have another amazing sporting success after last Sundays Eurocup. After an epic final (BBC's words) Nadal won!
You may think that I am a sports fanatic, actually I am not. I just like when true sportsmen win, and if they are Spanish, well that is a big massive plus.
So, thank you Nadal for yet again making me proud of being Spanish!
(By the way, for those who don't follow royalty, the Spanish dignitaries that Nadal greeted after greeting his family are prince Felipe and princess Letizia, he is the crown prince of Spain! What a moment!)
