So, tonight...

There is a big event here in London. I like the Olympics Opening ceremonies, but since we have four nationalities in this house (yes, and only two people), it will be hard to know which flag we are going to cheer the loudest.  Although, I have a incline which one is going to win!

The Jubilee and some storage ideas

This week I did two posts over at the Sizzix Uk blog, one about the Jubilee celebrations and another one about storage of die cutting products. Go on, have a look!

Sizzix EU Blog Hop

This week we have had the first ever Blog hop at Sizzix EU. Its been fun to check out the blogs of such talented ladies and getting all sorts of inspiration.

Monday - Lory Bucaria

Tuesday - Celine Navarro

Wednesday - Paivi Forsstrom

Friday - Anna Dąbrowska

Saturday - Paula Pascual

(Me! you are at the right place!)

So, today it is my turn, and as usual, I wanted to do something different from cards. I love making bookmarks, and since my husband has always about ten or twenty books on the go, making a set of them in one go seems like a good idea.
I am using Teresa Collins papers, which are becoming a firm favourite of mine.

Here is how I make them:

Start by die cutting all five Framelits. You can do each one separately or all at once. In any case you need the outline created by die cutting two sizes from the same card.

Die cut the tags solid using pattern paper.

Attach them together by applying glue only on the very top part of the outline die cut.

And there you got it. Four bookmarks in no time at all!

I hope you like it and have enjoyed the blog hop!

My latest trip abroad: Lisbon for Sizzix

I really enjoy travelling, I do not enjoy planning for it though. But lately I have had the chance to travel abroad a few times to demonstrate and teach for Sizzix.

Last weekend I went to Lisbon to teach at Chocolate Quente XL. I love any event organized by the owner Patricia Villa Boas.

You can see all the photos and read all about it here on the Sizzix UK blog.
