For this card I embossed the Snowflake Impressabilities using a silver shade of Brilliance Ink on it. It is more pearlescent in real life!
I know that the flower in the center does not quite match the snowflake background, but as i did this card at a demo sometimes I needed to improvise.

I quite like the unmatched look as the flower has the same hue of colour from the rest of the card. So it works very well. You worry too much Paula, if I had an ounce of your talent, I wouldn't question myself that much ! wink LOL Lovely wintery card perfect for an alternative Christmas greeting. X Fab
This is lovely, i love the punch on the side, i have a scallop punch but love the holes in it! is it an acutal punch, or have you painstakingly punched all the holes?
