New Stamps! Bold and Beautiful - CICSA6256

Introducing Bold and Beautiful!

This is one of the sets that I am most excited about, and lets be honest I am pretty excited about all of them. I had never done something so big in terms of sizes, and I wanted something Bold, Big and Beautiful to use not only in cards but also in scrapbooks and home Decor projects.

The stamps sets looks like this:

This set contains 15 individual clear stamps, sizes varies as you can see above, offering many possible stamping combinations. Basically each line is a separate stamp, and they all work together in terms of sizes.

Available right now from:
As usual it is an A6 size stamp sheet, it is made of high-quality, durable material (for use with an acrylic block - not included) and it is distribute by Personal Impressions, so all their stockists should be able to get hold of them.

Here there is a quick tutorial on one of the uses of the stamp set.

I took a white A6 card and a separate smooth white card. I stamped first the Thank You message with black ink. This Bold and Beautiful is reminiscent of the old fashioned blackboard so the font is a tiny bit distressed when stamped.

After the main sentiment was stamped, I kept stamping in different colours at the same angle, in some cases as in the WISHES I repeated it several times.

I thought it would look nice to add more detail so I used another new stamp set called Everyday Tab Messages. I used the numbers in pink and the script Thanks in black.

On the white card I added the spotty bright pink paper so that it would be on the left. As I felt it needed something else, I thought a button on a pink circle would do the trick.
The best way was to remove the white out. The technique is simple but very useful:

  1. Punch it out of scrap paper using the exact same punch.
  2. Place that punch out in the exact place where you want it punched.
  3. Then, slide the whole card and align the punched-out-shape with the punch and just punch it out.

And this is the finished card, which I added some ribbon at the bottom.
