Concertina Pop Up

One of my favorite paper folding techniques is to create a concertina fold, creating a W so that on the ^ you can glue some details to create a pop up.

The die cut edge of the paper creates this lovely edge on the card.

Did you have a nice Easter? I did! Omar parents were visiting so we did a bit of tourism. We went to London to the National Portrait Gallery and then went shopping to Liberty's. Actually, I just got Sarah, my mum in law, some cotton and a pattern book so that she can knit me something, as Sarah loves knitting. On Saturday we went to Wisbech and Ely, where Omar grandmother was from and on Sunday we visited very briefly Cambridge.
We packed quite a lot in, but more importantly we really enjoyed each others company. Although my back is hurting a bit now of al that driving. I don't let Omar do much car driving as he is so used to his motorbike that it is not very comfortable to be in the car when he is driving it.

Mmmmm that's a gorgeous card Paula - love the technique and adore that main background paper very much. Sounds like you had a great Easter. Mine was a lot quieter but spent with family, which is just the best thing.

I agree with Boo, that is a gorgeous background paper and you've made a stunning card with it. Love the little silver bauble embellies. Glad you enjoyed your Easter hols, sounds like great fun. We had it quieter here with just one day out in Alderley Edge. Px

Oh, I do like this. Have missed seeing your designs for a while, as I've been ill. You are one of my few favourite designers. Well done again...
