Creating a dotty background

This card was really fun to make. You know using some distressing inks, die cutting and my own stamps. The technique is the same as the card I put in a couple of days ago, in this case I stamped using Versamark several times the Dotty Border, lining it up over the solid lines of dots and then colored in with the distressing inks.

This dotty border was designed as a guide to place self adhesive crystals and pearls.

The large scallop circle die and the flower are dies from Sizzix. The stamp is part of the Essentials Circle set.

Oh that's amazing Paula. Once again, those gorgeous colours - they work so well together. The sort of card you'd have to keep out on the shelf forever just to so you could keep admiring it!

Paula I do love your style and thanks for the tip about availability of your stamps. Went to QVC and ordered them straight away. What a great deal.Agree with what you say about distress inks-you don't have to do the grungey thing at all-just your own and they are still fab to work with.XXX Betty

Great card, love the way you've used those colours and the subtle bling!

Also wanted to let you know that I've given you credit for a technique you showed me at The Glitter Pot on Saturday. You can check it out here - scroll down to the second card!
